Well, here it is. The promo poster for Colony:Mythos (I changed the name, so sue me). I see the history more as lore and mythos, as urban legend pertains to UFO's and Elvis sightings.

Okay, okay, a little something different. I like to do a variety of subjects and styles, so here's a little cover piece for a small serial I started for the UFO. The concept is pretty much an artist jam; I start a three page story with a hero, a femme fatale, and a cliffhanger situation. The next three pages are up to someone else in the next issue, and so on. You can't get ahead of the story, because you just don't know where it's going!
Hope you like!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Figures. December 25th, and I'm jacking around on the computer! Hope everyone had a great time.
This is a promo piece for The Colony Volume 2 entitled The Colony:Bloodthorne. It is now 100 years into the reign of Pacifico Cuspis, formerly known as Jason Thorne. The world as we know it has changed forever. One thing now stands between this manic madman and the death of mankind itself; his humanity. Can Orexis react in time to save Jason Thorne from himself, or will his rage consume him and all that is left of civilization?
Kinda funny. I have all these other projects I want to do, yet all I've done is flesh out The Colony. I have ideas for a mini series after volume 2 dealing with the origins of folklore monster myths, as the Colonists intermingle with human beings for their first encounters. Where did the Vampyre originate? What is a zombie? The Colony volume 3: Urban Legends explores this and more...
BY THE WAY
The COlony #2 is done, and being worded as we 'speak'. I am going to send it off to South Island Printing, because Comixpress is unreliable at best. They have good intentions, but horrible follow through and turn around time.
Anyhoo, the UFO just voted in new members, and we are getting ready to ramp up for the new year under the auspices of Jason DeGroot! Should be a blast! Check out the website

You'll be glad you did!
Later!

Wow. It's been a while, hasn't it?
I lost a majority of my recent work when some scumbag decided he was tired of jerking himself off and plant a virus in my PC. Loser. I lost a lot of the new Colony issue 2 I had complete, plus a lot of older stuff I can't replace so screw him. In his bad, dirty place.
Okay, I feel better!
Anyway, I finished The Last Believer, did the layouts for both T Frags and T Frags Annual for the UFO, pencilled the Bronx Angel pages and am in the process of inking them, AND toning and lettering The Colony #2!!!!
Got any free time you can spare?
Hope you all are having a great holiday (PC) season.
I'll be posting again soon.
Oh, by the way, do you like the new promo piece for The Colony Vol 2? It's my dear heart, Orexis, 100 years into the reign of Regent Pacifico Cuspis (Jason Thorne). Enjoy!!!!

Now, THIS is right sexy! This is the backpiece to The Colony, displayed at Atomic Age comics in Carrollton. I actually submitted this piece to a guy doing a story on women of the small press (indie comix) scene. Not too shabby, eh?
I will throw up some more pages of issue two this week for your perusal. I am almost done with it, and then it's tonig and lettering time.
I also did some work on a story called The Last Believer. I will throw up a preview piece of that, too.
(Aw hell, I'll do it now)
Have a great week, and check back oftem (not like anyone is reading this, anyway)
Thanks
Marc

Hope you stick around. Issue two is coming...
BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that was so weak!)
Later
